At Nottingham Village there is an endless variety of things to see and do. Whether it’s practicing your putting on our putting green, taking part in a bridge or pinochle game, utilizing the fitness center to stay fit, enrolling in our yoga class, attending a Hawaiian Luau, an Oktoberfest party, holiday celebration, an Easter egg hunt, a fishing trip to the campus pond, picnicking at the pavilion, woodshop classes or playing pool, you will be hard pressed to decide among the many events and activities taking place at Nottingham Village.
In addition to the great array of on-campus activities, there are also numerous off-campus events and activities to enjoy. They include, but are not limited to, cheering for the little leaguers at the Little League World Series in Williamsport, enjoying different shows at the Weis Center for Performing Arts, shopping trips for the savvy shopper, an array of lunch and breakfast outings and monthly continuing education programs/seminars.
Nottingham Village also hosts a wide selection of group and individual activities, all based on the individual’s preference. Some of these activities include: bingo, puzzles, knitting, quilting, bible study, arts and crafts, pet therapy, gardening, anniversary/birthday parties and holiday themed events.
The Retirement Center and the Nursing Center also offer high-speed wireless internet, Wii games, a beauty salon/barber shop, a library and a computer lab. Furthermore, there are on-campus church services from several denominations for those residents that are unable to leave the facility.
There is much to do at Nottingham Village and we take great pride in providing the most homelike and fun atmosphere possible for all of our residents, whatever their level of care may be.
